City of Tempe receives U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's 2009 National Award for Smart Growth Achievement for the Tempe Transportation Center.

Community Land Trust is Part of Chandler's NSP Program for Homeownership

City of Chandler ratified an agreement with NewTown Community Land Trust wherein the city will purchase 17 foreclosed homes using funding from HUD’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program.
